SHOOT TO SCORE SOCCER ACADEMY PROGRAMS
WINTER INDOOR CAMPS AND CLINICS
ONE DAY CAMPS Cost: $50.00 (includes 3 hours of instruction, official camp T-shirt)
Fundamental Skills Academy (ages 6-12) . Instruction focues on skill development through a variety of skill-related games. Passing, receiving, dribbling, shielding, heading and shooting skills are covered.
Goalscorer Academy (ages 8-14). Instruction focuses on the proper execution of various shooting skills, including the instep drive, full-volley, half-volley, and side volley. The majority of drills are taken to goal.
Goalkeeper Academy (ages 10-15). Instruction focues on the fundamental techniques used to field low, medium-height, and high balls, diving skills, and angle play.
TWO DAY CAMP PROGRAMS Cost: $80.00 (includes 6 hours of instruction, official camp T-shirt)
Field Player Academy (ages 7-14) Instruction focuses on the development of soccer skills through individual and small group activities. The camp program is organized in a progression from basic to more complex skills. Passing, receiving, dribbling, shielding, tackling, heading and shooting skills are emphasized. The basics of individual and group tactics (1v1 through 3v3) are also covered.
Goalkeeper GK #1 Academy (ages 10-16) Keepers are trained in the methods used to receive and control low, medium-height, and high balls, footwork, diving skills, angle play, and methods of distribution.
COLLEGE SELECT ACADEMY. The College Select Academy is designed for high school boys (grades 9-12) who are interested in competing at the collegiate level of competition. Partiicpants are coached and evaluated in match simulated situations under the direction of University of Pittsburgh men's soccer coaches. Clinic participants are also tested on several physical measures (speed, fitness), and receive a recruiting overview from University of Pittsburgh compliance staff. Each participant will receive an evaluation of his present status. Cost is $90.00 for the 3 1/2 hour clinic. 4v4 TOURNAMENTS
Our popular 4v4 indoor soccer tournaments are offered on selected weekends during the fall and winter months for the following age groups: U-8 (Co-ed), U-10 Boys, U-10 Girls, U-12 Boys, U-12 Girls. Teams are guaranteed a minimum of three games in each tournament. Games are 18 minutes (running clock), field size is approximately 42 X 30 yards. Roster is 8 players maximum; no goalkeepers used. Our COLLEGE SELECT ACADEMY (boys entering grades 9-12) is designed for high school age boys who are planning to play at the collegiate level. The camp programs offers the serious soccer player the opportunity to develop skills and tactical knowledge in a comprehensive camp setting. Our GK #1 Goalkeeper Academy is offered in conjuction with the College Showcase . Keepers are trained in methods of receiving low, medium and high balls, footwork, diving skills, angle play, and distribution. Field sessions are supplemented by lecture and video information. All campers receive a Size #5 soccer ball and official camp T-shirt. Residential campers reside in University dormitories and eat meals at University cafeteria.

EXTENDED DAY CAMPS (boys and girls 8-15 years)
Extended Day Camps are offered at the University of Pittsburgh - Oakland Campus and at the University of Pittsburgh - Greensburg Campus. Our Extended-Day Program offers the serious soccer player the opportunity to develop skills and tactical knowledge in a comprehensive full-day (commuter) camp format. Camp goes Monday through Wednesday (9:00am to 3:00 pm each day). Lunch is provided Monday through Wednesday. The camp ends at noon on Thursday. The Field Player Academy focuses on technical (skill) development coupled with individual, group and team tactics. Competitive/small sided games are played in the afternoon. Older experienced players are instructed on functional training for positional play.The GK #1 Goalkeeper Academy offers specialized goalkeeper instruction. Keepers are trained in methods of receiving low, medium and high balls, footwork, diving skills, angle play, and methods of distribution. Field instruction is supplemented by lecture and video information. All campers receive a Size #5 soccer ball and official camp T-shirt.

Elite Training Academy (Univ. of Pittsburgh campus)
Elite Training Academy is a weekend day camp offered for high school boys (field players and goalkeepers) entering grades 9-12. The curriculum consists of two days of rigorous training coupled with competitive games. Camp begins each day at 9:00 am and ends at 2:30 pm (lunch provided both days). Players will be coached and trained by members of the University of Pittsburgh’s coaching staff as well as additional college and high school coaches. The camp provides participating players with a highly competitive training environment and introduces them to the demands of the college game. Brief presentations by the University of Pittsburgh Compliance staff (NCAA recruiting rules and regulations) and the University of Pittsburgh Strength and Conditioning Staff are included. Each participant will receiving a quality Adidas soccer ball and Academy t-shirt Community Day Camps are offered in Bethel Park, Pittsburgh, Upper St. Clair, and Belle Vernon for boys and girls ages 7-12 years of age. Instruction focuses on the development of soccer skills through individual and small group activities. The camp program is educationally sound and organized in a progression from basic through more complex skills. Passing, receiving, dribbling, shielding, tackling, heading and shooting skills are emphasized. Fundamental concepts of individual and group tactics ( 1v1, 2v1, 2v2, 3v2, etc) are also covered. All campers receive asoccer ball and official camp T-shirt.
Goalscorer and Goalkeeper Weekend Academy will be conducted at the University of Pittsburgh (Oakland Campus) for boys and girls 10-16 years of age. Two full days (9 am - 3 pm each day) of shooting and scoring exercises with everything taken to goal. Goalkeeper training is combined with goalscorer finishing to create a competitive game-simulated training atmosphere. Lunch is included both days. Each camper receives a size #5 soccer ball and official camp t-shirt.
Team Training is offered during the summer months on a residential, extended day camp, and community day camp basis. Team training is also offered during the winter months at the Charles Cost Indoor Sport Center located on the University of Pittsburgh campus. Groups (teams) of 10 or more players are trained as a group by an experienced staff coach. Age-appropriate drills and game-simulated exercises are used to develop technical (skill) competence and improve tactical awareness.
