"Man I wish they had this when I was in High School.  What a great sport.  All three of my sons played this past spring and they loved it.  My youngest will also play this spring.  After the first week of practice, I went to Dick's and got my own stick and we got some goals for the back yard too.  Michelle and I love it."

2008 Eastern York KNIGHTS

KNIGHTS - 2008 RECAP

The Eastern York KNIGHTS successfully completed their second full season of play.  Success was defined several ways including growth in new players (23 to 47), expansion of coaching staff  (3 to 8), addition of a new level of play (U-13 team) and a 100% return of all 2007 players.  In addition, the coaching staff was evaluated at the end of season by both the players as well as the parents.
On a scale of 1 (lowest) to 7 (highest), the coaches received superior ratings using the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) report card with an overall rating of 6.60 out of 7.00.  Along side of the evaluation rating, the players and parents were encouraged to share their thoughts regarding their experience.  Below are just some of the comments...

"One of the best coaches we've ever had.  My child learned a lot." - U-13 parent.

"I learned a lot this year and am thankful for the experience." - U-13 player.

"One of the best coaches we've experienced.  See you through 12th grade." - U-13 parent.

"This is a great team with a great coaching staff and it was FUN!" - U-13 player.

"Loved it!  Can't wait for next year.  We were very happy." - U-11 parent.

2007 Eastern York KNIGHTS

KNIGHTS - 2007 RECAP

The Eastern York KNIGHTS completed their first successful season in the spring of 2007.  The Club was made up of 23 boys who attended school in the Eastern York School District.  Participants attended Wrightsville Elementary School, Kreutz Creek Elementary School and Canadochly Elementary School.  The boys were in grades 2nd through 5th and qualified as U-9 and U-11 players.  Here is what a few of the families had to say...

"Our son had one of the best experiences in his life learning a game that he now loves."

"Thank you more for bringing the sport to Eastern so that our son and all of the other boys had the opportunity to learn it."

"Our son had a wonderful time and learned a lot about lacrosse."

"I am very thankful that my son is part of such a great team.  This is exactly the experience I had hoped for him...to learn how to be a "team-player" and to learn from and look up to a great coach with such a positive attitude!"
