Celebrating 40 Years 1969 - 2009 October 16th - 7:30 pm VS Border Bruins vs. Spokane Braves "Paul Sofonoff / John Anderson Memorial Game" Special Presentation by the KIJHL to both teams....Spokane Braves have iced 37 years (consecutive) and the Border Bruins 38 seasons ( 2 season leave-of-abscence 1971-72: 1986-87) Also, a special tribute to both Paul Sofonoff (the man who named the Border Bruins) and John Anderson (one of our 1st Goalies 1969-70) who both passed away this past year.
