Pioneer Football Philosophy As part of the football program at Ann Arbor Pioneer High School, we strive to establish great pride—pride as individuals, as players and coaches, as a team, as a school, and as members of our community. In our commitment to the team, we expect nothing less from each other than complete respect for ourselves and others, reaching our fullest potential both on and off the field, and conducting ourselves with integrity at all times. In pursuit of these ideals, our focus is on the development of our student-athletes in all arenas of life—academics, athletics, and as productive members of our community.
Appropriate Equipment for Summer Camps MHSAA only allows the use of helmets at camps during the summer for Michigan high school athletes. Although other football camps in other states may permit the use of shoulder and other pads, you should only wear a helmet at camp.
