Congratulations to our Varsity boys who participated in the 12th Annual High Mountain Challenge on Saturday, June 20th at Northern Arizona University. The High Mountain Challege featured 44 high school teams from across the state participating in a 7-on-7 passing league tournament. The Challenge also offered a Big Man Tournament in which teams competed in 10 events testing speed, strength, endurance and agility.
Our Horizon Varisity boys were in the Semi-Finals for the 7-on-7 Passing League Tournament and came in 3rd Place. Our Varsity boys who were in the Big Man Tournament came in 19th place.
We are so proud of our Huskies!!! Again, Congratulations!
Parent Consent Sports Injury Video Website
To participate in any sport, one of the participants' parents and each athlete must watch the informed consent video before the season begins and each player must have a signed drug testing release form. This video needs to be seen once in a student's four (4) years, but new paperwork must be turned in annually. The informed consent video dates are (TBD). Please note, if the player has not seen the video prior to the start of the first official football practice (August 10th), he will not be allowed to participate until the presentation has been seen.

All Horizon Garage Sale (sponsored by PAWS).......All football parents are encouraged to bring garage sale items to the Senior Parking Lot on Friday, September 25th, 2009 beginning at 4:00 pm. The event begins on Saturday, September 26th from 6:00 am - 2:00 pm to raise money for our Football Team. Save your items NOW!!! PAWS is providing Charity Pickup if you choose to donate the remaining items at 3:00 pm.
PAWS is providing 24 hour Security on Friday night.
