Cougars Fall Short in 6th Overtime
Cougars traveled to Joplin MO to play for the Division Championship against Joplin Crusaders.   In the first quarter Joplin scored 5 due to Cougars error.  At the end of the first half the score was 7-0.  The cougars came back in the second half tying the Crusaders to 7-7.  The score remained 7-7 going into overtime, where the Cougars and the Crusaders battled it out for 6 overtimes resulting in a final score of 22-19.  The Crusaders will now go on to play in the  CFL Championship game.  Throughout the entire game their was poor officiating not taking any thing away from Joplin.  However, it does not look good when 9 penalties are called 9 penalties were waived off that were suppost to be against Joplin.  Twice during the game the Cougars thought they won the Division Campionship and the play was called back.

Kansas Cougars will start re-buiding and preparing for next season.  If you have any question of when and where feel free to call 316-390-0893.
