FOUR MUSTANG CARDINAL PRINCIPLES

HARD WORK WILL BEAT TALENT EVERYTIME, BECAUSE TALENT REFUSES TO WORK HARD!!

ATTITUDE, DISCIPLINE, COMMITMENT, and CHARACTER are the FOUR CARDINAL principles of our football program.

We believe that a positive ATTUTUDE causes positive thoughts, events, and outcomes which create extraordinary results.

DISCIPLINE is hard work and sacrifice. The hard work helps you make hard decisions, embrace pain associated with change, and stay on track in the face of stress, pressure, and fear. Sacrifice is a choice of giving up one thing for another.

Our COMMITMENT is to the team's purpose of excellence in all aspects. All excuses, rationalizations, and options are eliminated. We are committed to the past, present, and future of the program.

Our CHARACTER is our conviction, choices we make, and commitments we keep. We hold strong to our principles and refuse to stray especially when no one is watching.

The Mustangs have shown a desire to earn a ticket to the SHIP (championSHIP)! They feel that no one in the state of Tennessee is working harder than they are. You will see a different swagger on the 2009 Mustangs that has not been evident in recent years. While the opponent sleeps, they are working to get better! The Mustangs are looking to make a run at the Gold Ball. They have one of the toughest schedules in the area. Bring on all comers!
