Islanders hold the penguins to a 2 all draw.
The Penguins won the first period 2 goals to nil despite Richard Wallaces best efforts on the Ayrshire goal. However the Islanders came back strong in the second to win the period 2 goals to nil , with goals from Wallace , McIlwraith and a second period shut out from Conroy.
Man of the match for the Islanders was James MciLwraith and man of the match for the Penguins was net minder C Collins.
Inverness Islanders need players for next season Most of the current squad will move up to the under 14s team leaving the Islanders short of a goalie and players. If you are under 12 years old (born 1998/1999) and wish to learn to skate and play hockey please come along to the Inverness rink on Sundays for 9:45 am. Goal keeping equipment is supplied by the club. No equipment is need for learn to skate.
