Baseball Camp was a huge success this year.  The Campers all had a great time working with the coaches and players.  Check out our new poll question and see if you agree with the masses...

The 2nd Annual Panther Baseball Club Golf Outing will be September 5th at Spuyten Duyval like last year. The only difference will be our dinner will be at Pat and Dandys afterwards.  We will have an 8am shotgun start.  More information is coming soon.   Mark your Calendars for the event and get your 4 person teams ready. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************ Our most recent poll showed that only 16% of you picked Cap Anson as the first player to reach 3000 hits in a career. He was arguably the best player in the 19th century. Anson played primarily with the Cubs and finished his 27 year career with 3,418 hits and a .333 batting average. Unfortunately Anson was an avowed racist and helped establish baseball's color line.
