We are happy to announce the Yard Sharks will be making an expected but welcomed trip to Las Vegas at the end of this month to attend the USA/ASA National tournament!!  Winning Metros last month earned the girls a direct berth and the opportunity to represent Sacramento at this esteemed event.  While it wasn't originally on our summer schedule, especially on the heels of the Colorado Sparkler, it is indeed our next destination.  The ASA Nationals is the largest  competitive tournament in the U.S.  Thousands of teams around the country compete each summer at different levels hoping to earn a berty to play in this tournament.  Earning a direct berth is the highest honor as it only comes as a result of winning a qualifying tournament - and is very much earned, not offered.  The best of the best will be there and the Yard Sharks definitely want to be a part of it.

Our organization is now campaigning for sponsorships in the form of donations to help offset these unanticipated travel expenses.  If you are interested in helping the girls meet their goal of playing in Las Vegas, please contact Coach Joe or Coach Patty for more information.  All donations are tax-deductible.  All sponsors will be highlighted on our website, team banner and team travel shirts.  We'll be proud to "bring you along" with the Yard Sharks to represent Sacramento as we travel this summer and throughout the Fall.
