The NFWB Vikings are a Youth Football and Cheer organization serving Farmington Hills, West Bloomfield and surrounding communities. 

NFWB VIKINGS - A TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE

There are a lot of choices available for parents when it comes to youth sports. There are recreational leagues, travel leagues, premier leagues. There is soccer, football, baseball, lacross, gymnastics, competitive cheer, dance, plus 100's of others.

With each of these choices, there are numerous other factors you need to consider. What is the true commitment you are signing up for? How convenient are the days and times I have to have my child available to participate? Where do they play - is the location a nightmare to get to? How much does it cost? And most importantly...what is the true value my child will receive for the money I am spending?

The NFWB Vikings know the amount of choices you have. And we pride ourselves, and have for over 50 years, on being the right choice when quality of program and value for your dollar are top on your list of considerations. 

The NFWB Vikings provide flag and tackle football programming for children ages 5-13. We also provide sideline cheer and dance programming for children from Kindergarten - 8th grade.

While our organization is run entirely by volunteers, we have consistency from year to year in our coaching staffs and board. The reason we are able to offer that consistency is because when a family joins the Vikings, they tend to stay with the program until their youngest child ages out. The average length of time a Vikings family participates with our program is  between 5 & 6 years. 

Speaking of family, when you join the NFWB Vikings, you do become part of the Vikings family. Once a Vikings, Always a Viking! Yes, running a program with over 125 unique families each year is a LOT of work. But, it doesn't feel like it! Every Viking family volunteers, rolls up their sleeves and goes above and beyond to ensure the best possible experience for our children. 

Being a Viking, the children learn so much more than how to play football or cheer. They learn about being apart of something bigger than themselves. And of course they learn team work, commitment and self discipline. But they also learn what it feels like to be part of a community of people who will do everything they can to keep them safe, feeling encouraged and believed in and by example, teaches them how to do the same for others.  

Excellence and achievement naturally come as a result of the Vikings strong belief of family, team work, dedication and commitment. While we are very proud of our teams records and championships, we are even prouder of the caliber of person the young men and young women are that graduate from our program.
