Hunt Field is named after legendary BHS coach Bill Hunt.
"My favorite memories involve Bill and his boys (Matt and Dave). How they made that field their home away from home. Not only did they love baseball, and love their players, they built a field, with the help of obviously the town, that I think is second to none in this area. That's an absolutely gorgeous field and that wasn't always the case. That was Bill's hard work and his boys blood, sweat and tears that went into that."--Shaun Ratchford, Danbury HS baseball coach, in the Danbury Newstimes
