Baseball is Back!
Nowthen traveled North to take on the Albertville Anglers on a frigid night. There was rust to knock off but overall for the first game of the season things went pretty well after the first inning. Three new faces made their Knights debut as Joey Dickey, Brandon Paananen, and Dillion Stokes made up the left side of the field playing left, short, and third respectively.
Hitting was led by newcomer Joey collecting 2 hits while scoring the Knights lone run. Dustin Rode, Matt Johnson, and Ethan Wibstad each had hits in the contest as well.
Parker Burman got the start on the mound going three. Gavin Carey threw two innings before giving the ball over to Ethan W. who finished the last three innings. As a whole the pitching staff only gave up one walk over 8 innings.
It wasnt a great night for baseball but it was great to get back on the field.
