New Orleans wins 2009 Title New Orleans overcame an opening day loss to capture the AAABA National Championship on Sunday in Johnstown. The Boosters defeated New Brunswick 9-0 to secure the franchise's thirteenth National Title.
In earlier action, New Brunswick defeated Brooklyn 6-2 to earn the berth in the Championship game.
Congratulations to the Boosters and all of our 2009 tournament's participating franchises. A special thank you to the Johnstown OIdtimers and the people of Johnstown, Pennsylvania for another great tournament!

Hall welcomes Four Inductees The 2009 AAABA fesitivities officially kicked off on Saturday evening with the 16th annual Hall of Fame banquet at the Pasquerilla Conference Center in downtown Johnstown. The Hall welcomed Dean Albany (Baltimore), Bob Linker (Buffalo), John James (Johnstown), and Tom Yewcic (Johnstown). The crowd was entertained by Guest Speakers Kent Tekulve and Grant Jackson, two members of the 1979 Pittsburgh Pirate World Series Championship team. Check back soon for photos.

2009 Hall of Fame Inductees Announced The All-American Amateur Baseball Association is pleased to announce the 2009 Hall of Fame Inductees. The Hall of Fame Class will be inducted on Saturday, August 8th in Johnstown. Guest Speakers at the banquet will be Kent Tekulve and Grant Jackson, two former Pittsburgh Pirates and World Series Champions. For ticket information, please contact Bill Fertitta.
