Margate wins 4th consecutive, 18th overall ACBL Championship 1-0 over Northfield in Game 4 Monday night. The lone run came as Trevor Rosenberg walked in Dan  Krause with the bases loaded. Winning pitcher Lou Pepper(12-0) allowed only 2 hits while striking out 12 in a stellar performance in front of a crowd of nearly 200 at Birch Grove Park. This marks the 4th consecutive year Margate has defeated Northfield in the finals.


Game 1: Margate won 10-3

Margate won 10-3 after scoring 7 runs in the first off Dececco. Tim Cooney got Northfield out to an early lead with a solo homerun off of Lou Pepper in the top of the first, but it wasn't enough as Margate Cruised the whole way. Northfield elected to throw Dececco vs Pepper in order to have more favorable matchups Tuesday and Wednesday as their Aces, Cooney and Rosenberg take the mound in Game's 2 and 3 respectively.

Northfield's only hit was a monster 3-run shot off the bat of Eric Fitzgerald, which was all Trevor Rosenberg needed to force a Game 4 and head back home monday night.
