SNOHOMISH COUNTY THUNDER NEWS!
The Thunder has been working out in Marysville every weekend. Over 30 players have been getting into shape for the 2010 season; many are new to the team. The Thunder will travel to Sequim on April 3rd to play a preseason game against the Olympic Peninsula Eagles. Head Coach Mike Haggett, and Tight End Ray Hanna will be traveling to Florida to be part of the International All-Stars team that plays the Southeast League (Florida All-Stars) Saturday, January 16 in Homestead Florida.
OLYMPIC PENINSULA EAGLES NEWS!
New head coach, Mike McMahan, who coached with the Thunder the past two years has recruited a lot of new players for the Eagles. The team will play its home games in 2010 at Sequim High.
Offensive lineman, Don Polite, will also be a member of the International All-Star team in Homestead, Florida.
PUGET SOUND PIRATES NEWS!
Pirates have dropped out of the CFL and will run the team on an independant schedule. While we are saddened by the loss, we will move forward to the 2010 season.
TACOMA WARRIORS NEWS!
The Tacoma Warriors will be having a mini camp coming up in January of 2010 at the soccer center in Tacoma WA. Most of the 2009 players will be returning for the 2010 season.
RENTON RAVENS NEWS!
The defending CFL Champions will hold tryouts on February 20th & 27 at Renton High School.
SEATTLE STALLIONS NEWS!
The Stallions start their new quest for a CFL Championship by holding a camp for veterans and signed players, January 16th, 11:00 a.m. at Rainier Beach High.
New player tryouts are January 17th, 11:30 a.m. at the same location. No fee.
SOUTH KING COUNTY COLTS NEWS!
The Colts are proud to announce that Damien Coaxum and Mark Onibokun, have both been signed by the new Kent Predators Pro Indoor Team.
The Colts hold a open tryout on January 3rd, from 11:00am to 1:00pm in Auburn. They will have a new web site up soon!
PACIFIC NORTHWEST WILDCATS NEWS!
The Wildcats held tryouts in November and December. They start full practices in January, in Marysville.
TACOMA INVADERS NEWS!
The Invaders will have their final mini camp Jan. 8-9th; with their official 2010 team tryouts and veteran camp Jan. 23-24th. Also the team is looking for OL and DL help and also will have upcoming information about being an Invader cheerleader. Any inquiries are to be taken up with William Crumbley and the number and email is on the invader website.

Renton Ravens Head Coach George Jackson recieves the FWFA Championship trophy from Commissioner Moody Sunday after defeating the Las Vegas Demolition!

Las Vegas, Nevada-The Renton Ravens knocked off the Las Vegas Demolition 32-29, to put a end to the undefeated season for the Wild West League Champion Demolition. The game was a "back and forth" contest all-night. The Ravens held a commanding lead going into the fourth quarter, but the Demolition came storming back to get within 3 points as the clock ran out on a great game.

Owner/Player Don Purser Recieves The FWFA Bowl Championship from Commissioner Moody after there win vs East Las Vegas Cobras!
Las Vegas, Nevada-The Kitsap County Bears won the Far West Bowl Championship game with a blow out over the East Las Vegas Cobras, Champions of the Wild West League's Spring season. The Wild West League plays both a Spring and Summer seasons.
The Cobras scored on the opening drive of the game, missed the extra point and were never heard from again as the Bears took control and dominated the game. The Bears were on the Cobras 3-yard line with time for one last score, but chose to have their QB take a knee in respect for their out classed opponent.
Las Vegas, Nevada-The Las Vegas Heat, the runners up in the Wild West League filled in for the league all-stars in Friday night's game against the Western All-Stars. The Heat won the game on the final play of the game with a 35-yard touchdown pass in the end zone for a 34-30 win.
Cascade League players who participated were: Ray Hanna (TE) Thunder, J.Piper (OT) Eagles, Tim Freeburgh (Long Snapper) Ravens, and Don Politte (OG) Eagles. Mike Haggett of the Thunder served as a assistant coach.
