Meet Jordan Robinson

"When I was seven years old I had a change in my life. We had a revival at my church and Ronnie Owens was preaching that night. The Lord had been speaking to my heart even before he started speaking. That night, Ronnie shared the laws of God and how I had broken them. He shared what Christ had done for me when he took my sins on the cross. The Holy Spirit was really working on my heart that night and I knew if I had died that night, I would not have been in the presence of the Lord. I knew there needed to be a change in my life so I went up front and I asked the Lord to forgive me of my sins and save me. I felt the Lord come into my life that night and change me. The Lord as worked in my life since that experience and He has been with me every step of the way. I try to live for Him everyday." - Jordan Robinson
We prayed for a long for Jordan to be delivered from all of his pain. God doesn't always answer when we want or how we want. He answered on August 19, 2008, by taking Jordan home to be with him. Jordan is cancer free, and probably RUNNING on streets of gold right now. God loves us so much and our comfort is in picturing Jordan's face as it is right now - in the presence of God. He is home. Revelation 21: 3-5 "..Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away...I am making everything new!" Stay close to him today and always.
Jordan's favorite passage of scripture was Psalm 23:
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
