The Lady Lions fell behind early, losing the first two games, and couldn't quite finish the comeback on Tuesday night, losing in five games to Temple Christian. Covenant roared back from the 2-0 deficit behind the strong play of Christy Turner, who had 6 kills in the match, but fell just short in the 5th game, 16-14. Tina Kirby added 7 kills, while Betsy Ingraham recorded 14 assists for the Lady Lions, who finish the season with a record of 10-11.
