Down the Home StretchThe War Eagles are in the final stretch of the 2010 season and are looking pretty good with a 8-3 overall record and a 5-3 league record. The War Eagles hope to over come some key injuries throughout the season and finish strong with 2 more wins to finish out the regular season and make a run for the play-offs. Two teams stand in there way, Stark County Thunder who the War Eagles defeated in week 2 by a score of 10-6 and division rival Steel Valley Hardhats who scored on a last minute drive in week 3 to give the Eagles a loss. The Eagles are in familiar territory though as last years season came down to a win or stay home situation and in the end the Eagles won their way into the play-offs. Veteran players and rookies alike have all stepped up in key situations to put the War Eagles in a great position for this years play-offs. |
