• TeamOne Indoor at Highland Park dome (top recommendation for weekly "work"):
  • Tuesdays, 7 sessions: Jan 10-Feb 21 at 6:30-7:30
  • 7 Sessions at $165 per player (non-HP resident)
  • There is conflicting info floating around about whether this program is designed for Varsity-bound, Sophs, Juniors, Seniors or for all grades, 9-12, In either case one thing is certain, this program is: Appropriate for experienced players
  • 7-v-7 (2-A&D 2-M 1-G) on 80x40yd "outdoor-style" field with Out-of-Bounds and Long sticks
  • Of ALL the indoor possibilities, this one is both the best priced and most "Evanston-Convenient":
    • Highland Park Fieldhouse: Straight up I-94>US-41, past Park Ave on right, can't miss it.
    • About 25 minutes from Downtown Evanston

• True Lax Box Lacrosse - Northbrook
  • Session 2: Sundays, 6 dates: 1/15, 1/22, 1/29, 2/12, 2/19,2/26), Time TBD (likely 7&8PM game times)
  • $225 per player/Session (add $25 Late Fee after: Session1:Nov 5, Session2:Jan 2nd)
    • $400 for both Sessions at once, must register before Nov 5.
  • JV and Varsity levels
  • 6-v-6: 5 Short Stks, 1G on Small plexiglass-sided field (smaller than Libertyville), no long sticks
  • Fairly Evanston-Convenient at North Shore Indoor Sports, 600-A Waukegan Rd., Northbook
  • COMMENT:  Great program to obtain more stick-handling repetitions beyond KoF and the TeamOne program.

• Lacrosse America Indoor leagues:
  • NEXT LEVEL - Lake Barrington Fieldhouse (about 1 hour from Evanston in Sunday traffic)
  • Sundays, 11/6>Feb 26, games at 1PM (JV), or 2PM (Varsity)
  • For serious/experienced players only
  • 75-minute sessions: Serious Coaching practice, followed by Full-Field 10-v-10 games
  • Teams are "by draft" (i.e. NOT by HS), but times will still facilitate car-pooling
  • Includes a "home-and-home" with Detroit-area league of same caliber
  • $499 covers 10 sessions including Detroit trip and potential All-Star game (Dec 18)
  • This would be probably be our top recommendation if wasn't so far away and potentially a bit pricey for most

• LIBERTYVILLE INDOOR LEAGUE -  Libertyville Sports Center (about 45 mins from Evanston in Sunday traffic)
• Indoor box-like field (bigger fields than Northbrook), no long sticks
• Freshman league on Sundays Start times between 5-7PM
  • Session2 (8 dates $310): 1/8>3/4 (register for both at once: $399)
  • The TeamOne thing might discourage Freshman - if so, THIS will be our #1 recommendation for serious/experienced Freshman!
• Sophomore, Junior, Senior Leagues: on Tuesday evenings (totally conflicts with TeamOne gig)
  • Session2 (8 dates $310): 1/10>2/28 (register for both at once: $399)

• Ante-Up Indoor League - McCook Sports Center (about 50 mins from Evanston in Sunday traffic)
  • Sundays, 13 Dates, 11/6>Feb 26, games at 1-2:45PM (Frosh/Soph), 2-4 (Varsity)
  • For Serious players only, Frosh/Soph: $650, Varsity: $700
  • Sessions include:
    • Speed, Strength, and Agility Training by Athletico
    • Full Field 10-v-10 Games
    • Personal evaluation with a coach
    • Individual Instruction
    • Special Position Clinics
    • Filmed Games
    • Guest Coaches
  • COMMENT:  This too will be an amazing program, but perhaps the priciest of them all.  Even though it is on the SW side of Chicago, it is about the same drive time as Libertyville on a Sunday (unless there's a Bears game!)

  • We went 2-1 in pool play (losing to the eventual champs) and were seeded 4th of 8
  • Lost the playoff game in a spirited and exciting dogfight that ended 8-5
