Rangers beat Katy Braves 8-7
--On a cold Sunday morning, we came to the park knowing we would be short 4 starters but ultimately it was 5 starters that would be out this game.  This really handicapped our offense, the entire middle of the lineup was out but luckily for us, our opponent had similiar problems. They had only 9 players but at least 2 of their best hitters were there. Both Rangers coaches, myself and Mauricio Chaires, had to lace them up this game and played key roles in this win. Through 7 innings of play and with the help of some poor defense on our part, our adversary had a controlling 7-2 lead. In the bottom of the 8th inning, Jose DL Reyes and Troy Losoya hit back to back doubles that plated 1 run. On the next batter, the calvary rode in, Clay Daniels (arriving in the 8th and still wearing his work uniform) pinch hit and promptly hit a 2-run HR over left-center. Going into the 9th inning we were still down 2-runs. In the bottom of the 9th, Jared Wesley hit a double and 2 batters later Anthony Conant brought him in with a single. With 2 outs and down 1-run, Anthony advanced to 2B on a wild pitch to Juan Sanchez. With a "no balls and 2 strikes" count Juan grounded the ball into the hole between 3rd and SS that the SS picked up and threw into the dirt at 1B past the 1B-man allowing Anthony to score the tying run. In the bottom of the 11th inning, with the score still tied, the first four batters each singled and scored the walk-off winning run. This was a good come-from-behind win for us, but the errors we committed should not be overlooked.

Rangers beat Indios 8-1
--Finally, we played a game where our defense and pitching dominated. Coupled with some power shots and speed on the base paths, we completely dominated this game. Clay Daniels took the mound and with the help of some key defensive plays, got the win throwing 7-innings (run, 4-hits, 3K,5-bb). Danilo Carcomo cleaned up the final 2-innings with 3-Ks,BB, and 2-hits. At the plate, Ray Perez, Pancho DL Reyes and Clay Daniels lifted shots into the jet stream for homeruns. We had a very well balanced offensive attack led by Clay (3-5, HR, 2runs), Rocky Perez (2-4, 2 runs) and Pancho (2-5, HR).

--Finalmente, un juego donde nuestra defensa y pitcheo domina. Junto con unos bateos poderosos y nuestra velocidad en las bases, nosotros completamente dominamos este partido. Clay Daniels subio ha la loma y con la ayuda de algunas jugadas mayores de defensa, tomo la victoria tirando 7 entradas con 1-carrera, 4-hits, 3 ponches y 5 bases por bolas. Danilo Carcomo cerro el juego y en 2 entradas agarro 3 ponches, BB, y 2 hits.  en el lado ofensivo, Ray Perez, Pancho DL Reyes Y Clay Daniels levantadon bolas altas donde el viento ayudo sacarlas del terreno de juego. Nuestro ataque ofensivo estuvo muy bien equilibrado y dirigido por Clay (3-5, HR, 2 carreras), Rocky Perez (2-4, 2-carreras) y Pancho (2-5, HR).

Rangers lose to Colt 45s 7-8
--There is this saying when someone "steals a victory out of the hands of defeat", well this day we managed to do the opposite.  We "stole defeat out of the hands of victory".  On a cold..br...freezing Sunday morning, where in front of our dugout we had to be careful not to slip on the ice, a game we had in control got away from us.  After 6-1/2 innings of play we held a commanding 5-1 lead. At that point we had knocked out there ace pitcher and our ace's only run came by way of a fielding error. Ben Blackburn was dominant through 6-innings, giving in to only 3-hits, no walks and 7-Ks. But in the disastrous bottom of the 7th inning, everything that could go wrong did. They eventually touched him up for 5-hits that inning one of which was another sun-aided hit in front of the leftfielder. Also, that same inning, our rightfielder committed an error that cost 3-runs. On the offensive side, our bats finally broke through against one of the top 3 pitchers in the league and eventually causing his exit.  Leading the attack were Clay Daniels with 2-5 (2B,HR, 2-runs), Oscar Goldman 1-2 (on-base 4-times, 1B,2-walks, HP, 3-SB) and Jose {New Daddy} De Los Reyes 2-5 (2-RBI, Run).
Rangers caen contra Colt45s 7-8
--En un dia demasiado frio y donde encontramos hielo en frente de nuestra banca, tambien encontramos una manera de perder un juego que teniamos bajo control. Despues de 6 entradas teniamos una ventaja dominante 5-1. Ha ese punto del juego habiamos deslojado de la loma el as pitcher de nuestro adversario y nuestro as solamente habia permitido una carrera sucia. Ben Blackburn domino las primeras 6 entradas con 7 ponches, no bases por bolas y solo 3 imparables. Pero en la 7a entrada, todo lo que pudiera pasar mal, ocurrio. En esa entrada le pegaron ha Ben 5 hits, unao de ellos fue por el sol en la vista del jardinero izquierdo. Aparte, en la misma entrada, nuestro jardinero derecho cometio un error con un out seguro que nos costo 3 carreras. En el lado ofensivo, nuestros bates finalmente estallaron contra uno de los 3 mejores pitcheres de la liga y fue causa de su salida temprana. Dirigiendo el ataque, Clay Daniels con 2-5 (un doblete, HR,2 carreras), Oscar Goldman 1-2 (4 veces en la base, un hit, 3 robos) y Jose {Nuevo Papi} De Los Reyes 2-5 (2 impulsados, una carrera).
