Welcome To The Cardinals Nest

DON'T CALL IT "REBUILDING",
YOU CAN JUST CALL IT "RELOADING"
After a disappointing playoff series, the Cardinals gear up for a better outcome in 2010. But after some recent drama (better than a soap opera), the Cardinals had to say goodbye as members jumped ship to form there own team. The Cardinals took quick action and manager Mark Milroy recruited and signed new key players to fill up the holes and are looking to fair better in 2010, as well as show the A's that we are stronger then ever, superstar or not.
Returning to the Cardinals after a few seasons off is: Joe Lievanos in his last season with the Growlers Joe hit .500 and proved to be a leader on the team also returning is Lefthander Vinny Longo who help lead the Growlers to their first championship in 2006 Vinny was 4-1 with a 1.91 era. The Cards also added Eric Kantner who is the ace of the Phillies in the Town of Newburgh League. Eric was 6-1 for the phillies last season....   Dan Van De Kar a pitcher, shortstop that was a standout at Millbrook HS will also join the Cards. Dan will see time on the mound and at short for the Cardinals in 2010 ....and finally rejoining the team are Pitchers Darren Shepley and Will Boggs....Boggs Started out the 2009 season very strong but ran into some off field problems that derailed his return to the game, but this season Will looks to turn it on in the Naba in 2010. Also returning to the Cards for the 2010 season is a familiar face Lefthanded Pitcher Mike Devens. Mike spent last season on the Arsenal after having injured his shoulder he was unable to pitch after rehabing Mike is ready to take the mound for the Cardinals...If Mike returns to form the rest of the NABA is in trouble....here come the 2010 Cardinals

Cardinals are 2009 Hall of Fame Tournament
CHAMPIONS
The Cardinal not only won the 2009 Hall of fame tounament but they dominated the competition. It was the ultimate team built with speed(21 stolen bases) defense(6 double plays) Pitching( 22 k's 1 no hitter, 2 one hitters) and Offense( 42 runs on 34 hits) The Cardinals went 5 and 0 and with pitching that only comes from the work of the baseball gods left 4 teams in a pile of rubble as they climed to the top. The Cardinals pitching staff which included Alex Forster(Complete game 1 hitter),  Matt Patsey(1 hitter), Walter Sepulvada,(2-0 with a no hitter) Tim Chappell and Jeff (Skip) Streeter,(1-0 1 sv) mowed through opposing hitters. The Offense was just as lethal scoring 42 runs in 5 games and the defense was devestating only giving up 8 total runs. The Cardinals roster consisted of Mark Milroy, Dan Milroy, Matt Cerasaro, Clint Boettcher, Alex Forster, Matt Patsey, Ed Morrison, Tony Giardina, Corey Weiler, Eric Rassin and Jairo Buten and Moises Rivera from the Arsenal. Also on the roster were Lou Dodge, Jeff Streeter and Walter Sepulvada from the South Troy Cudas of the CDMSBL, and Tim Chappell from Conn.
