The Illinois Central College baseball team competes as a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II and as a member of the Mid-West Athletic Conference.

In 2007, the Cougars enjoyed another strong season under Coach Brett Kelley. ICC finished the year 31-26 overall, good for third during the regular season and a runner-up finish at the NJCAA Region XXIV tournament in Springfield.

With many of those same players returning, Coach Kelley and the Cougars have set their sights on "Being Great in 08" as their goal is to advance to the Division II World Series in Millington, Tenn.
