The Jacksonville Storm Placed Big in the USSSA World Series!!!
The Jacksonville Storm Organization placed big in the 2011 USSSA World Series. The 8U, 10U ’01. 10U ’00, and 12U Jax Storm teams spent all season preparing to make a competitive showing at the 2011 World Series. After hard work, support, and commitment each team did just that. Here’s how the Storm teams fared in the World Series:
Team Outcome
8U 2002 7th Place out of 11 Teams (8A Bracket)
10U 2001 12th Place out of 45 Teams (10A Bracket)
10U 2000 5th Place out of 45 Teams (10A Bracket)
12U 1998 4th Place out of 33 Teams (12A Bracket)
16U HS 17th Place out of 32 Teams (16U Bracket)
This is a great accomplishment for all of our teams and the organization applauds everyone’s efforts. The Jacksonville Storm Organization wishes our 14U team best of luck as they seek to become the ASA World Champs in Maryland this week. Coming soon, we will be posting tryouts for all of our teams in order to strengthen our efforts. Please visit our individual teams’ pages and pitch2fast for more information. Again, I cannot express how proud I am to say that I am a “Storm” Family member and what it means to wear the red and black.
See you on the fields and congrats!

The Jax Storm Places Big in the State Championship!!!
This past weekend, the Jacksonville Storm Organization placed big in the USSSA State Championships. Battling 68 teams across all age groups, rainy skies, and the summer heat, four of the Jacksonville Storm teams made it to the finals for a chance to be called “State Champs”. In the end, two of the four prevailed and earned title that will last forever.
As the leader of this great organization, I cannot express how proud I am of each of our teams. As stated many times below, our objective going into this weekend was to become state champions and show the power of this organization on and off the field (via competitive softball and sportsmanship). Each of you did just that and I applaud you for your efforts and your continued dedication. The Jacksonville Storm will be sending five teams to the USSSA World Series in July in hope of becoming “World Champs”. I wish each of our teams best of luck and see you on the fields.
Here are the results from this weekend’s tournament:
#1. Jacksonville Storm ’02 (8U Runner-Up)
#2. Jacksonville Storm ’01 (10U “Silver” Bracket State Champions)
#3. Jacksonville Storm ’00 (10U “Gold” Bracket State Champions)
#4. Jacksonville Storm ’97 (14U Bracket Runner-Up)
#5. Jacksonville Storm HS (16U 5th Place)
Again hats off to all and this was an awesome weekend for the Jacksonville Storm!
