2009 Livingston Storm

Brighton Bulldogs Black Champions Hawk Invitational

KVBSA 2009 RULES ALL BAT ALL PLAY We are an all bat, all play league. If a player is in uniform, then they must bat and play 2 innings in the field. If, there is a disciplinary problem or injury problem that would keep a player in uniform from participating then that information needs to be conveyed to the opposing coach prior to the start of the game.
BASEBALLS & SOFTBALLS Everyone must use the balls purchased through KVBSA. They are the Rawlings brand and each team is responsible for providing a new ball at the pre-game meeting. The home team also will provide a previously used good game ball at that time.
UMPIRES Each team will pay one of the umpires at the pre-game meeting. The pre-determined amount is $35 for every game. If a community has to pay additional, they are responsible if the visiting team does not want to cover those additional costs.
PLAYER INFORMATION All paperwork must be completed and turned in to the league commissioner before a player may play. You need a Medical Release form, Player Contract Form and copy of the birth certificate for each player. NO EXCEPTION! No Paperwork, No Play. Keep a copy for yourself and submit one to the commissioner. If every player on your roster has not submitted the three forms required, they are ineligible and can not play until all of that information is properly submitted. Any games in which an ineligible player participates will be considered forfeits.
Please bring all paperwork to the March league meeting. You may scan and email all signed forms to the league commissioner at tdrcd@aol.com.
ROSTERS Be sure to send a copy of your team roster to the league commissioner. If you did not recieve the Roster Excel spreadsheet, please contact tdrcd@aol.com. All coaches who will be on the field must be listed on this form in order to be covered by the league insurance. If a coach is not listed, he will not be insured.
PLAYER ADDITIONS U9 through U13 can add players until June 1st. No additional players may be added after that time. Make sure all player information is submitted to the commissioner before they play any games.
PLAYING UP & MULTIPLE TEAMS Kids may play up but they can not play down under any circumstances. A player can be on multiple rosters in different age groups but they can not be on more than one team's roster in their specific age group. (A U12 player may be on a U12 and U13 roster during the season. They must declare which team they will play for during the post season) A U12 player may not be on more than one U12 roster, no matter how many teams are in that age bracket or how they are broken out. If they play one pitch for you then they may not change to anorther team in your age bracket.
SPIKES U12 are rubber spikes
