Latin Flavor repeats sweeps of NYCMBL Awards For a second year in a row Latin Flavor players sweep the NYCMBL AA Division Annual Awards Ceremony.
For the third year in a row Latin Flavor has produced a CY Young award winner in the NYCMBL. Manny Vera 6-0 (following suit behind the likes of Adam (A-Train) Barrick in 2007 and Anthony (El Viejo) Cabrera in 2008) wins the 2009 Cy Young award.
For a second consecutive year Latin Flavor has produced an MVP award winner in the NYCMBL. Matthew Ortiz (.455) wins the league MVP award for the second year in a row.
