Mustangs newcomer Kyle Blohm scored the game winner as the 8th shooter in a dramatic 4-3 win over rivals Vankleek Hill Cougars. However Mustangs goalie Chris Telford was the big winner as he made numerous stellar saves including robbing one of the Cougars on a breakaway with less then a second remaining in regulation. Telford owned the shoot-out as he made it impossible for the cougars to take a lead as the Mustangs earned 2 pts and are now tied with the Cougars in 3rd place in their division. 

Mustangs showed discipline and composure as they fell behind 3-0 to the Cougars after 20mins, allowing for a great Team win when it counted. Playoffs are 2 weeks away and they will have to show up and play as a team the same way they did in this game. They proved they have Talent to every team in the league this year, but they also showed lack of committment playing almost half the season un-deciplined and with a short bench. As the standings are so close it will be a last minute decision on who  the Mustangs play the first round, but the Vibe in the room last night was definitely one of a winning team...
