MISSION

Our mission is to provide the youth of each organiza
tion with a positive and enjoyable experience in football and cheerleading. We want to teach each child the values of fair play and competitiveness, both on and off the field and to teach each participant the fundamentals of winning, while equally stressing how to respond to adversity.

ORGANIZATION

The North American Youth Football Association, more commonly known as NAYFA, was established on Jan.1st 2006.This is a National community-based program that is unique in that our Association provides every child the opportunity to excel and experience valuable life lessons in sports as well as educate through sportsmanship & teamwork.The North American Youth Football Association�s administrators strive to provide a framework in which tackle football and cheerleading is often the ideals of good sportsmanship and fair play are stressed and taught.The NAYFA will accomplish this mission by bringing quality organizations together across the nation.We are looking for quality organizations that would like to be apart of something great!

NAYFA understands how challenging it can be to obtain valuable experience in the sports industry and therefore offers summer, semester and year round internships for college students in order to provide them with a valuable learning experience in the non-profit youth sports industry.

Qualifications: Proficient in all Microsoft products, esp. Excel and Access, excellent writing, speaking and communication skills, willing to work independently, outgoing, creative, customer service experience or skills.

Duties: Sponsorship research and proposals, assisting with grant applications, assistance with preparing for youth camps and coaches' clinics, on-site event assistance, recruiting, database entry, responding to marketing requests, input for website development and improvement, working with NFL teams on community affairs, assisting with football, cheer and academic programs as well as general office duties.

Type of Remuneration:
Commission and/or academic credit.

1. Understanding of non-profit management
2. Proficiency in communicating with professionals and volunteers
3. Knowledge of sports event management
