NDSU Hockey

The NDSU men's hockey team traveled to Indiana to take on the Hoosiers in a two game set. In game one, the Bison fell by a 5-1 score, despite outshooting the Hoosiers 27-26. In game two, NDSU and Indiana were tied 2-2 with just over four minutes remaining before the Hoosiers exploded for three goals to win 5-2.

The Lady Bison hosted the Grand Forks Glaciers in an exhibition contest on Sunday. The Glaciers cruised to a 7-3 victory, despite being outshot by the Lady Bison.

Both the men's and women's teams are in action in Fargo this weekend. The Bison Men take on St. Cloud State on Friday at 10:00 p.m. and Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Earlier in the season, the Bison lost 3-2 in overtime, then beat St. Cloud, 5-3, in a weekend series.

The Lady Bison series vs. Iowa State has been cancelled due to a lack of players for the Cyclones.

Saturday is an NDSU Hockey Student Saturday! Students get in FREE to the men's hockey games by presenting their student ID at the door. Regular ticket prices are as follows:

Students $2
Adults $5
Children 6-under FREE

See you at the rink!

NDSU Hockey Website Sponsor

NDSU Hockey would like to thank Nor-Son Inc. for their donation to get this website off the ground! They were the first company to agree to be a sponsor for the 2009-2010 season. Since then, the Doublewood Inn has becoming the official hotel for NDSU Hockey. Giant Sunflower Seeds has become the first jerseys sponsor for the 2009-2010 season. The team is still looking for a second jersey sponsor and a ticket back sponsor. The ticket back sponsor can put a coupon on the back of every ticket for the 2009-2010 season. There are also other sponsorship/advertising opportunities. Contact us at NDSU.Hockey@ndsu.edu for more information.
