Co-Ed League first play off rounds were completed with some incredible action! Numerous points had to be measured and 3 matches were detetermined by 1-2 points.

Week Eight Another night with rain threatening, a few sprinkles fell but all matches were completed. The High Rollers, Choir, Bocce Bandits and Bocce Nova win. Next week will finish the regular season and playoffs will start August 13th.
Week Seven The games were completed under the threat of rain. Alot of great rolls were seen with many close points having to be measured in all matches. The Bocce Bandits after loosing to The High Rollers in the first match win in their second match on the last roll with 4 points against Bocce Nova! The Paizans and The Destroyers were also winners. Another night of great fellowship!
Week Six Bocce Nova continues their winning streak to three by defeating The Choir. The High Rollers win by one point and Bocce Bandits come from one point down to win in the final frame. The Paizans remain in third with a win against The Destroyers. Once again the night was perfect and the fellowship continued until dark!
Week Five
Bocce Nova makes a strong comeback after last week's defeat with two dominating matches and lead the league. Bocce Bandits take sole possesion of second place with a win over The Paizans. And The Choir win a close match against The Destroyers. The weather and fellowship were just perfect for July!
Week Four
Undefeated Bocce Nova lost to the Destroyers. The other three matches were decided by one point each setting up for some interesting match-ups for the final matches of this session.
Week Three of Summer League
A GREAT NIGHT OF BOCCE! Several close games with Bocce Nova coming from behind to tie in the final frame and win, remaining undefeated! The Paizans win late in their match and the Destroyers and Holy Rollers posted their first wins. The courts were fast all night and the fellowship was priceless!
Week Two of Summer League
The High Rollers win a close match against The Choir in the final frame and went on to win their second match against the Bocce Bandits. The weather was great after a lot of rain from the night before. The courts were groomed and rolled fast all evening, many points had to be measured and what happened to the missing red ball? Bocce Nova won in the late match and are leading the league. All in all another great night of Bocce! Those who stayed after dark played under the new lights for fun.
The first lighting of the courts was priceless!
Saturday 6/13 The lights are up and we will have first lighting tonight at dark! Come and join us!
Week One of Summer League
The 2009 Co-Ed League is underway. The rain stayed away, the courts were rolling fast and the fellowship was great!Strong play was seen all night on both courts.The Booce Bandits, The Choir, Bocce Nova and The Paizans prevailed in their first matches.

Finals The Choir win a close match with The Destroyers, advance to play Bocca Nova in finals. Bocca Nova defeat The Choir and are Champions of 2008 Co-Ed League!
2nd Round of Playoffs Destroyers win...advance to play The Choir. The winner will play Bocca Nova for the championship!
1st Round of Playoffs Bocce Nova and The Choir advance to play the top two teams The Destroyers and Paizans. Both Bocce Nova and The Choir win and will play each other next week for top seed in the playoffs! The Holly Rollers and The Destroyers win and will play next week to advance to play the loser of Bocce Nova/The Choir.
Playoffs Begin! First matches begin at 6:15! The Destroyers and Paizans have a first round bye. The Games will be played to 12. Playoff format will be a Double Elimination. We plan to complete 3 rounds this week. Destroyers will play the winner of the Bocca Nova/Holly Rollers match. And Paizans will play the winner of The Choir/High Rollers match @ 7:00pm. If you need a sub they can not be from another team.
Week Seven Could not ask for a better night! Great play was seen with some close games. The Paizans remain close to the Destroyers for first place. These two will play next week and what should be a great match.
Week Six The Destroyers continue to dominate play winning both matches and the Choir and Paizans are close behind. Another good night of play!
Week Five The weather was perfect! Good play was seen all night.
Week Four Another rain out!
Week Three Early games were finished before rain fell and late games were postponed.
Week Two The games were completed under the threat of rain. Alot of great action was seen with many close points having to be measured! And there was even one draw as the measured distances were even! A close match between The Choir and The Holy Rollers ended 20-19 favoring The Holy Rollers.
Week One of Summer League A great night to start the 2008 Co-Ed League! The weather was perfect, the courts were rolling fast and the fellowship was priceless! Strong play was seen all night on both courts. We finished with no black eyes and teeth intact!

From yesterday�s matches Bocce Nova held off a late game rally by the Destroyers, defeating them 12 � 9.
In the late match The Choir defeated Bocce Nova 12 � 6. Bocce Nova was awarded the bronze medal.
The Choir will go against The High Rollers for the championship game(s). Since The Choir is in the losers bracket, the must defeat The High Rollers twice to take the gold.
The time and location of the match will be announced. There are NO games this Thursday!!

Third/Semifinal Round With a strong performance The Destroyers defeated The Paizans 12 � 6 eliminating The Paizans from the tournament.
In a Cinderella comeback Bocce Nova defeated The City Slickers 12 � 9 eliminating The City Slickers from the tournament.
The High Rollers insured a place in the championship round by defeating The Choir 12 � 3. The Choir moves to the loser�s bracket.

The Choir vs the winner of Bocce Nova/The Destroyers 7:15 East Court
The winner of this game will advance to the championship round.
Second Round Playoffs
We had 2 matches this past Monday. The Choir defeated the City Slickers 12-4 to advance in the winner�s bracket. The Paizans defeated The Holy Rollers 13-8 to continue on for their quest for the gold. Thanks to The Holy Rollers for there participation, they have been eliminated from the tournament.
First Round Playoffs Completed The Destroyers,The Choir and City Slickers advance to second round. High Rollers advance to semi finals after a second round win. Final Week of Summer League High Rollers move into first place with a one point win over the Destroyers. Standings remain close going into the playoff tournament.
Week Ten The standings continue to be close after tonight's games. The Destroyers have their first defeat at the hands of The Choir.
Week Nine Update Rain forced cancellation of this week's matches! These matches will be played August 16th.
Friday Night Bocce - August 3rd Over Twenty players participated in the first night Bocce event! Open play started after 7pm and continued until 10pm using lighted Bocce balls. We plan to continued night Bocce the first Friday of every month.
Week Eight Update With two weeks remaining in the Summer League the top five teams are in a close race to the finish. Once again good Bocce play was seen with a very close match between the Destroyers and City Slickers.
Week Seven Update A rain delay during the first matches did not last long and every match was completed! The High Rollers are in first place after the Destroyers/Pointers match had a double forfeit. Matches to watch next week is High Rollers vs. Holly Rollers and City Slickers vs. The Destroyers!
Week Six Update The threat of rain did not deter the faithful! Several close matches were played and a lot of good Bocce action was seen. The Destoyers and High Rollers remain undefeated.
All rainout matches have been rescheduled and are posted to the left. Mark your calendars!
Fifth Week Update Finally good weather and a fine night of Bocce play. A close match between The Choir and High Rollers ended with High Rollers winning 20-19.
Fourth Week Update Once again heavy rain left a lot of standing water on the courts at game time. All matches were cancelled and will be rescheduled.
Third Week Update Another rainout!
Second week of Summer League A heavy rain left a lot of standing water on the courts at game time. All matches were cancelled and will be rescheduled.
First week of Summer League Courts rolled slow due to recent rains, however good bocce action continued with a tie breaker at the end of regulation time between Bocca Nova and The Choir.
Co-Ed league had a great night for the start of the Summer League. The first matches were practice and next week starts league play.

The league will start Thursday June 7th. Warm ups will begin at 6:00pm and first matches will start at 6:30pm, second matches will start at 7:30pm. League fees are $10 per person.
Men's open play is every Monday Night. No sign-up needed and bring a couple of dollars! Play starts around 6 pm.
Special Olympics practice every Tuesday.

Recap of 2006
A dedication ceremony was held December 31, 2006 for the new John Walter Klindworth Memorial Bocce Courts at St. John's. Thank you to all who attended this very special event.
The completion of the courts was only possible through the generosity of the John Klindworth Memorial Fund. The unveiling of a recently placed sign will complete the year long effort to build the new facility.
Courts were restained 11/26/06 and dedication sign placed.

Week Seven Rain forced canceling the games this week! No make-ups scheduled, see you at the Tournament on the 15th!
Week Six Team McKenna/Wintermantel continue to win and are in first place. Team Balogi/Haney/Tollerton have moved into second place with another win!
Week Five Late Games were rained out!
Week Four Great night for another week of good Bocce! Team's Addison/Dickinson/Molnar/Phillips and Kelly/Gitzen/Hores/Dilmore are playing well to stay close to 1st place Team McKenna/Wintermantel.
Week Three With another win Team McKenna/Wintermantel are in sole possession of 1st place. Another fine night of Bocce play! Week Two of Fall League Bocce play continued to be good ...Team's Braun/Braun and McKenna/Wintermantel move into a tie for first place.
West Court was resurfaced this past weekend! The course top layer was removed over two weekends and a fine layer of stone dust was added. This is the same material as is on the East Court.

Final Week of Summer League There was a three way tie between Team's McKenna/Wintermantel, Hughes/Zwierzynski and Hores/Lebak!
Team Hores/Lebak won the roll-off and are the winners of the Summer League. Team McKenna/Wintermantel finished second.
The Summer League was a huge success! Fall League begins August 17th!
