DISTRICT IV CHAMPIONS

It was deja vu for the Prairie Falcons and Camas Papermakers last night as they squared off once again for the District IV championship at Columbia River High School. And once again the Papermakers defeated the Falcons to take the District IV championship and the #1 seed into the District III/IV tournament in Auburn next weekend. Some would consider the victory an upset, but those who know the Camas team never doubted the team's ability to perform in big matches. The manner of victory, however, was a bit surprising as Camas rolled past Prairie in straight sets 25-23; 25-15, 25-14. The Papermakers came out attacking and didn't let up. It was a sweet victory that puts Camas into a good position to make a sixth straight run for the state tournament.
