EXPOS LOSE A CLOSE ONE 12-8
The Expos needed a win today but couldnt quite get it falling to the Mad Bulls 12-8. Aaron Drees got the start and despite only giving up 4 hits, had to depart after only 4 innings of work as an unfortunate result of 6 walks. Andre Ceja came in and kept the Expos close but was ultimately tagged with his first loss of the year. Offensively the Expos lacked some punch today but both Pat Brown and Vince Mastrangelo had solid days at the dish. Brown went 2 for 4 with a HR 4 RBI's and 2 runs scored while Mastrangelo was 2 for 3 with 2 steals in his return. The Expos are in dired need of a win next week or their playoff dreams are going to be a lot dimmer. Game time is 2:00 pm against the Dodgers at Granada Hills High School, be on time and ready to play we need this one.
