The Quakes continue to display a total team effort, both offensively from all spots in the lineup, and defensively at all positions.  All this culminated in a

16-12 victory over the WarHawks at Granada Hills High School on Mother's Day.  Max threw a solid seven innings of work and Aaron came in to shut to the door in a 1-2-3 8th inning to wrap up the game.  Mike Preski decided to introduce himself to the PCBL in grand fashion...literally coming within 2 inches of a blasting a grand slam over the right field fence.  At the very least, he can shove his brother's nose in that for a while.  At the end of the day, the Quakes have won 3 consecutive games and have gone over .500 for the first time in club history.

 

This week, the Quakes go up against the Warriors (recently moved from A to AA competition) on Saturday at Canyon High School then get back to it on Sunday vs. the LA Loons at Granada Hills High.  Both games are at 10:00am.

Be there no later than 9:15am to warm up for BOTH games

Bring $7.00 per player for the umpire fees for BOTH games

 

If anyone owes league fees, jersey/hat fees, continue to get those to me on Sunday as well!
