After losing the first 2 games of the season, La Onda Swept there Double Header vs. the LA Angels and the OC Royals to improve there record on the 5 game season to 2-2. If there is a Playoff before the Championship Look out for this team to do some BIG things!





LA ONDA will be Changing there team name full time to there Tourney Name, the DIRTBAGS.. The Dirtbags are the Defending Arizona World Series 18+ Champs, and are ranked the #5 National Adult Baseball Association team in the NATION. The Dirtbags Went 15-1 in 2010 Tournament play and will be looking to kick off a solid 2011 campaign where they will play in the MSBL Palm Springs Desert Classic in January 2011..which should help them prepare and be more then ready for the 2011 Spring Season. Manager Pac Gutierrez will be getting much needed help splitting 50/50 Managerial Duties with the Loveable but Gangstar "Uncle" Bob Gutierrez. La Onda's returning players consist of Team leader JC Coleman, as well as Jon Arana, Mikey Robertson, Kris Hernandez, Sam Goreil, Joe Balogh, Charlie "Chuck" Cortez-Torres, Jeff imahomo and Ace Southpaw Cy Young Mike Mckernan. Adding to the team is lefty first baseman Bobby Gutierrez, Power Hitting Catcher Mike "Jimbo" Earnest, Crafty Right Handed Reliever David Gutierrez, Fireball Throwing reliever Chico "Cheeks" Garcia, Starting Pitcher Mikey Simpson, and the lankiest Pitcher of them all, 6ft 8in lefty Steve "Stretch,Gumbo,Giraffe" Creswell. Look for the Dirtbags to play DIRTBAG Baseball on there way to another Title Run!
