The only thing we fear is letting each other down. We know each other's strengths and weaknesses. We know how to push each other, because if one of us is to rise above herself, we all need to work to make that happen. So we run harder when our lungs are screaming. We fight for the ball when our arms ache and our eyes burn with sweat. It can be hard to tell where the team ends and the player begins. It makes us stronger than just twelve women on the field.
