After a scoreless first period, Shad Phipps opened up the scoring at the 10:10 mark to put the Pucks up 1-0 and that would be the score for the remainder of the period.

Twenty-five seconds into the third period New Originals undressed net minder Thom Wright with a really sweet goal; Wright needed the rest of the weekend to find his jock again. In case you're wondering he found it at the Chiller Ice Works the following night.

It looked like the fan was going to get some bonus hockey on this night, but Brian "Rusty" Ashworth had different plans, he wanted to get back home to watch "Sponge Bob" and so with 36 seconds remaining he sent a scorching shot on net and that whizzed past the New Originals goaltender. (Actually the puck rolled off his stick and just snuck by the goaltender who was screened by everyone except Wright...yup you could have used a sundial to clock it)
