The Saline Stix are based in Saline Michigan and affiliated with the Saline Area Youth Baseball and Softball Association. 
The Stix was founded in 2007 as the 8U SAYBS All Star Team.  In 2008 they became the 9U AAA Travel Team and joined the KVBSA baseball league.

In 2008 they were the South Division Champions in KVBSA.  In tournament play, they placed 4th in the AAA State Championships, Runner Up in the Saline Summer Slam tournament, and appeared in the AA USSSA World Series in Columbus Indiana.  In addition, they were the USSSA Memorial Day Champions and the "Game Day" 4th of July 10U Champions. 

In 2009, the Stix started their tournament season off with a championship at the USSSA Battle of the Borders tournament in Dayton Ohio.  In their next tournament, they finished second in the Firecracker Classic in Battle Creek.  The Stix finished the 2009 season with a bang.  The won the WACO Wolves Championship in Farmington Hills, they also claimed the Lake Fenton Lighting Tournament Championship in Fenton.
Their biggest accomplishments in 2009 occured in the State Championship and the World Series.
The Stix won the USSSA AA State Championship in June and finished the year as the Runner Up at the USSSA AA World Series.

The team is coached by Mike Schwatzenberger and assisted by Steve O'Keefe and Joe Wiedmeyer.
