2010 Saratoga Stampede

Stampede Celebrates it's 10th season in 2010!
We plan to have several interesting events this season to promote our 10 years of outstanding baseball in historic Saratoga Springs.





Stampede Junior Legion-New York State Champions! Congratulations to Coach Long and all of the players and coaches on a tremendous accomplishment!!!

Stampede Senior Legion-New York State District 4 Champions! On to Utica for the State Title! Congratulations to the entire team on a great accomplishment. This makes 3 District Championships in the past 4 seasons!

The Saratoga Stampede was established in 2001 as a travel baseball program and in 2005, joined the American Legion Baseball League in District 4 of Upstate New York.

Our program, now entering its 10th year, recruits talented players from several area schools within the Capital District area. We will open 2010 with an American Legion franchise for its 6th season following a 2009 season that saw 5 new players on the senior roster, this experienced team went on to win the district 4 championship.

Our franchise has a combined record of 140W-40L for the past 4 seasons in senior American Legion play!!  Junior Stampede competing in the Junior American Legion Division won the New York State Championship in it's 2nd season and returns a strong group for the 2010 season. and College Stampede, participating in the 22U Wood Bat College Division of the NABF, this team went to the NABF Mid Atlantic regionals before losing to Long Island in the quarter finals. Congratulations to all the 2009 Stampede teams on great seasons. We are looking for more championships to add to our resume in 2010!
