The Lady Spartans went to Hempstead, Texas over the weekend to compete in the Lady Cat Annual Tournament.  SHS ended up playing 5 games in the tournament, losing only to Burton H.S.  But, the Lady Spartans got their chance for revenge against Burton in the championship game.  Stafford defeated Burton 12-0 to take 1st place in the tournament.  Freshmen pitcher, Jenna Daniel, was named the tournament's M.V.P, she threw 2 no-hitters & also batted .500 over the course of the tournament.  Congratulations ladies.
