TO THE
SUNDAY FOOTBALL
LEAGUE
Welcome to the Sunday Football League (SFL). The SFL is an aggressive tackle football league that uses minimal padding and no helmets with an emphasis on the "Passion to Play".
Since 1994, the SFL has made every attempt to allow any interested individual with the "Passion to Play" an opportunity in this League. With the implementation of stats, jerseys, web sites and hopefully referees in 2010, the League has had to add player fees to what was, for a long time, a free league.
This season the SFL will continue to grow by adding two more teams to the existing six teams. For this to be successful, the League is once again looking for interested players to fill roster positions. Any interested player may register at the top of this home page. Payment will not be due at the time of registration.

FREE AGENCY
HAS BEGUN
The 2010 Free Agency has begun as of January 10. The rules for changing teams are as follows...with some serious changes from last season.
1. A player that has chosen to go to another team has to be "accepted" by the team they wish to go to. Team Captains may NOT give away players or "cut" players to make rosters or to better their chances of winning.
2. If a player is accepted by another team, they have 10 days to change their mind and either go back to the team they previously had, or to go to another team (if accepted). Once the 10 day "grace" period has lapsed, they will need to be traded to another team for another player. Or they will have to sit until next season's free agency to switch teams.
3. Players will be considered "lost" if full payment is not made by the designated "due date." At this time, we do not have a confirmed cost ($$) for 2010. We do not expect payments at this time. Players that have not paid in full will be placed back into the Free Agency pool and will have to be picked up by another team under their player cap. The player will then have to pay the late fee in order to be allowed back on any roster.
