Welcome to Tallwood Wrestling.

 

Tallwood Lions Wrestling supports opportunities for young men and women to travel and compete, through the sponsorship of the Tallwood Lions Wrestling Club and various fundraising activities.

Tallwood Lions Wrestling and Tallwood Lions Wrestling Club work with wrestlers of all ages and skill levels from our community. We strive to improve our wrestler's present technique and introduce new skills to complement it.

Congratulations to the Lions Varsity Wrestling Team on their season, the Lions are now 12-13 in Dual meets this season.

The Lions team accomplishments for the 09-10 season include:

          5th place at the Mike Duman Toys for Tots Invitational,
          with 3 finalists and 3 other placers.

          Placing 2nd at the Lion Rotational, going 3-2 on the day  
          losing to Oscar Smith in the finals.

          Earned Kenny Whitley Sportsmanship Award at the
          Norfolk Duals

          Placing 3rd in the Ocean Lakes Invitational, 2 champions, 2  
          runners up, 1 third place, & 1 fourth place winner


We are making great strides with a very young group of guys and could not be more proud.
