Panthers Look for Another Championship in 2009Head coach Nick Klein, now in his second year leading the Club team, is excited about the team he has put together. While losing two .400 hitters; Bob Carroll and Alex Bohl, they are returning Ryan Nail(.477, 4hr, 9RBI) and Matt Richter(.415, 4hr, 9RBI). Along with the offense is a greatly improved pitching staff. Top Returners include; Kory Ross and JJ Connoly who combined for 7 of the 9 wins for the Panthers last season. Newcomers Zack Welter(NIACC's career saves leader) and Marshall Rogne(transfer from Upper Iowa) will take on the starting roles. Zack Welter will throw out the first pitch for the 2009 season at 1pm March 21st. Come watch the Panthers battle with Minnesota St. as they look to start another championship run! |
