As of March 7, 12:07 a.m. the Valley Thunder football team has been removed from the Central Valley Football League(CVFL) along with Kern Valley Aztecs.  The commissioner has decided that it would be best for both teams to be removed.

I would like to thank all the players that played for the team this season.  You could have left for bigger and better ventures, but chose to stay and play for this team.  That I appreciate very much!  I hope for the time we had this season every person on this team learned something and will strive to make themselves better as a person and a player in the future.

To the leaders of this team, do not stop playing or give up.  Keep striving to get better and learn.  You will come across crossroads and barriers in your life, it only makes you stronger.  Advance yourself to be the best at whatever you do and remember FAMILY COMES FIRST at whatever you do.

I apologize to the Pirates, Crusaders, and Mustangs.  For not being able to finish out this season.  I was looking forward to banging heads with you guys, but certain actions came into play.

In my last closing statement, I would just like to say that those of you that I have coached in the past know me.  I would never, ever teach this type of behavior to any player/team.  To play dirty, talk smack, or have an all out brawl on the field of play.  This is something that I do not teach or say it is okay.  I try to teach friendship, knowledge of the game, a brotherhood(family) and tradition.  Everyone that I have coached have taken something from me and has used it one way or another for good on the field or in life.  Thank you all for a great ride and good luck in your season and future!

Phillippians 2:3-5 says, "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.  Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.  Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus."

Remember life is a team sport!!!

GREATNESS STARTS WITH
BELIEF AND TOTAL COMMITTMENT!
