WPFC U12 White - Zamira

2009 Fall Season

11/7 & 11/8 - A welcome to Washington wet, windy and cold weekend with some great soccer played by the WPFC boys.  Our first game was against a much improved Eastside Blue team.  This game was a good physical contest well played by both teams with good action.  WPFC sealed a win on a great shot by Davis for a 3-2 win on Saturday.  Sunday would bring a tough Federal Way  Storm team to the WPFC turf.  The weather held off for a while in this well played match between two good team.  A very action packed end to end battle.  The score would be 0-0 late into the second half with WPFC scoring there first goal on a Ryan C. penalty kick from the box (Davis taken down on a breakaway in the box), making it 1-0.  The boys would follow it up with a cross from Conner to a wide open Johnathon putting it in the back of the net.  Finals scored WPFC 2 FW 0.  A great weekend for "Z's" boys, WAY TO GO!!!

10/31 - WPFC U12 boys put another win under there belt as they defeated the Snohmish FC soccer team 2-0.  The team pretty much controlled the whole game with Paxton putting one in the goal in the first half and Davis putting one in the net in the second half.  Great job boys!

10/24 & 10/25 - The WPFC U12 boys split two over the weekend with a good showing against Snohomish FC winning 1-0 and suffering a loss to the Crossfire Red team 0-1.  The boys are showing some good soccer, just a little more consistency and we will be great!  Good job out there boys.

10/17 - Another tough loss for the WPFC boys going down 0-1 to a very skilled Whatcom Rangers team.  The game was back and forth for the entire game just as the weekend before when these two teams met.  Both teams showed dominance during parts of each half but WPFC just couldn't over come the great passing ability of the Rangers.  The boys showed great heart in this tough loss.

10/10 & 10/11 - Saturday started off slow for the WPFC boys with a double header weekend on tap. An early game, Clark on the bench sick and cold weather, this formula did not bode well for the boys as the team took a 0-2 loss to a strong Federal Way Storm team. FW controlled most of the game as we looked like it was a little to early to play soccer. But there was Sunday to rebound. After a long drive up North to Whatcom RangerS an afternoon afair was much better for the boys. The game was well played by both teams on a cool blustery day. Whatcom would come out and score first with WPFC putting one in late in the second half. Whatcom would make one final run in the last minute to seal a win 2-1 and retain there first place standing. Even though the boys lost they were much improved from Saturday and I'm sure they will be ready for the rematch this Saturday.

10/2 - On a great day for soccer at Canyon Park Jr. High the WPFC boys flexed there muscle.  The game started out a little slow with some back and forth action in the first half with Liam putting his first goal of the year in off of a nice corner kick from Davis.  Z's crew would show there scoring dominance in the second half with Clark putting 2 in the back of the net while Johnathon added another to finish off a big and talented FC Alliance Gold 4-0.

9/27 - The 97 Boys Crew came to play this Saturday at a tough soccer complex that we have had our troubles at.  The WPFC boy controlled pretty much all the game with very few mistakes.  Davis put 2 in the back of the net with an assist from Clark while Jeremy put one in as well with an assist to Pete.  The boys put on some great passing combinations on there way to a 3-0 victory over the Eastside 97 Blue squad.  Great game boys!

9/19 - Z's crew came out to the pitch ready to play in there second game of the season against a tough Crossfire 97 Red Storkson team.  The boys controlled most of the first half and went to halftime with a 2-0 lead on two great goals by Jeremy.  The second half was action packed with Crossfire coming out strong and putting one in the net.  The WPFC boys would battle strong till the end of the game and deny Crossfire from scoring on several crossbar rattling shots with WPFC coming out on top 2-1.  Just another edge of your seat, heart stopping game between WPFC and Crossfire.  A great game played by all the boys!

9/12 - WPFC 97 White started off the Fall season in great fashion with a solid 2-1 win over Westsound FC 97 Red-A. The boys played well for the first game of the season controling most of the first half but fell behind on a last second goal by Westsound. The boys showed great desire to win in the second half in the heat of the mid-morning sun scoring twice on goals by Davis and Ryan. It was a great game played by all the boys! Great job!
