Saturday's game did not fair well for the Wolverines losing 5-1. They played sluggish and could not get much offense generated in the game. Rookie Chip Ellis was the only Wolverine to find the back of the net. Justin Lindgren was in net and suffered the loss.

Sunday's game had a diffrent result. The Wolverines held on for a 7-6 shootout victory. Roy Murphy was in goal getting his first Jr. B victory. Scoring for the Wolverines were Sterling Brown with two, Casey Moneer with a pair and Joey Abate and Chris Matteo with singles. Foster Boerman was the hero in the shootout firing home the eventual game winner. Connor Every-Andrews had to be held off the ice and taken to the hospital with a knee sprain. The short bench and an injury to the team's top scorer will welcome another two weeks off before they face the Hampton Roads Whalers at home on February 27 amd 28.
