FC Pocono Introduces College Showcase Teams

FC Pocono’s College Showcase Teams are dedicated to the development and recruitment of prospective student athletes who are interested in continuing their education and soccer experience in college.  Players will be pushed to hone their individual techniques and skills while being immersed in a learning environment specifically designed to give them the confidence to progress to the next level as a soccer player.

Players will be instructed on tactics and strategies as well as important  recruitment policies and procedures of the NCAA.  Players will be given the opportunity to play in college showcases, allowing exposure to collegiate soccer coaches of all levels.  There will be two main goals of these teams.  The first goal will be to educate players and parents on current NCAA recruiting practices and processes.  The second goal will be to prepare the high school soccer player to make the transition into a prepared collegiate soccer player.
