November 24 - HORIZON'S GOT TALENT FUNDRAISER
*  Spiritline Varsity members will be hosting this new event  -  The Varsity Pom & Cheer lines are hoping this fundraiser will assist them in covering some of the costs for the upcoming Nationals competitions.  Many hands are needed.  Your girls should be letting you know how you can help to put this event on and help raise the coffers so they can travel to Nationals this year!  Questions?  Email any Board member for details. 

November 21 - POM & CHEER COMPETITION
*  AIA Regional Competition/State Qualifier!  -  Both Pom and Cheer Varsity lines will be competing in the SAN TAN State qualifier to be held at Estrella Foothills High School in Goodyear, AZ.  Please come on out (consider carpooling) to watch our girls compete.

November 13  - 1st ROUND DIVISION PLAYOFF GAME
*  Stay tuned here for info on the strong possibility our Varsity football team will advance to the playoffs!  -  Our Varsity football team has their fingers crossed and so do we! If things go well, they will play in the first playoff game tonight.  See you there!  ** Update!! Yes, we are on to the playoffs!  We are ranked #12 and will play against #5 Sunnyside HS in Tucson.  See the schedule calendar for directions and map!

November   7 - CHEER COMPETITION
*  USA Regional Competition!  -  Our Varsity Cheer squad will be competing this Saturday at Deer Valley High School in Glendale, AZ.  This is an important competition in which the girls will hope to qualify for Nationals.  Come on out and support your favorite Cheerleaders.

November   7 - POM COMPETITION 
*  UDA Desert Southwest Championship today!  -  Our Pom line(s) will be competing this Saturday at the Dodge Theater in downtown Phoenix. Come on out and support your favorite Pommies.

November   6 - LAST FOOTBALL GAME of the season
*  Horizon vs. Pinnacle at Pinnacle  -  Pinnacle Schminnacle! Our rival school has a very tough team and will prove difficult to conquer.  Let's come out in force to support our Spiritline and football team at our school's last scheduled football game of the season. Let's help cheer them on to a spot in the Division Playoffs!  

November   5 - MONTHLY BOARD MEETING TONIGHT
*  ALL SPIRITLINE PARENTS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND!  -  The Spiritline Board Members and any interested Spiritline parents are invited to attend the monthly Board meeting.  Meeting begins at 6:00 pm.  See the Schedule calendar for directions and more details!

TAX CREDIT INFO -   Use for Camp, Competitions and more -
*  ALL SPIRITLINE PARENTS -  Spiritline Treasurer Carolyn Strandberg says:
 "Attached please find a letter outlining the process to utilize tax credit money for Cheer or Pom camp. Please know that if you wish to use tax credit money moving forward and already have paid for camp, you may still use tax credit moneys for future competitions and travel.  Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to e-mail me."   Reach Carolyn at: ccstrandberg@q.com
