MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT 2009

The Kamloops Broncos 2008 season reached new levels of excitement. With
two seasons under our belt, much progress has been achieved. Our mandate to rebuild the culture of football in Kamloops has gained huge momentum by creating an affordable, entertaining family event. Our fan base grew to
over 800 boisterous fans per game and our program attracted over 100 young men from all across Western Canada, including many local star athletes who were proud to represent their home town of Kamloops.
 
Community and Corporate support continues to grow as the Broncos partner with champion organizations like the United Way and the Kamloops Food Bank. The Broncos worked with a corporate sponsor to build a Community Connection which provided over 50 tickets per game to community based organizations like Big Brothers and Sisters, Kamloops Mental Health and the Boys and Girls Club, so that everyone may have the opportunity to enjoy the game of football.
 
Football’s reach has grown tremendously due to the generous contributions
from the Kamloops Blazers Sports Foundation, which has helped in the
creation of three community football teams for young athletes ages 7-12.
A year of overwhelming success, community football is now on the rise.
 
Together with your support, we will continue to build our community one
yard at a time.
