WOLVERINES GROUND FLYERS 6-1
The K&A Wolverines began their 3 game weekend road trip with a solid 6-1 victory over the Sioux Lookout Flyers,Friady. K&A lead 2-1 after 2 periods and came out skating in the third,scoring 4 unanswered goals. Newcomer, Chris Smerek notched the hatrick, scoring the first three goals. Adding singles were Tim Harris, Alex Porrier, and Patrick Mielke with his first of the season. K&A netminder, Spencer Malone was solid in net stopping 30 shots. Next up for the Wolverines are the Dryden Icedogs, Saturday night.
