The Midwest Force finished their season Saturday with a hard fought 20-18 defeat at the hands of the Battle Creek Blaze.  The Force entered the game as heavy underdogs, but showed heart and determination throughout.  They held a 6-3 halftime lead over the Blaze.  After a field goal and touchdown, the Blaze took a 13-6 lead into the 4th quarter.  Following a Force TD, they attempted a 2 point conversion to take the lead and failed.  The Blaze added yet another scoring drive increasing their lead to 20-12.  With time running out on the Force, they found the endzone.  With no other option, the Force attempted another 2 point conversion, this time with the same result.  The Force D held the Blaze to a 3-and-out and regained possession with :25 left on the clock and no timeouts.  Unfortunately, the clock ended the potential winning drive and the Force ended their season with another L.
